Don’t you just hate it

When you’re happily knitting along, you’ve nearly reached the end of the row when the yarn slipping through you’re fingers feels funny, you look down and

Yarn Knot

there’s a massive knot in the yarn 😦

  1. Oh, bugger!

  2. Yes, I hate that! But it happens.

  3. […] This hasn’t happened to me yet, but I’m sure it’s only a matter of time. […]

  4. Finding a stray knot in my skein of yarn is one of my top knitting annoyances. I understand that it is more efficient for the manufacturer to knot-and-go-on, rather than dispose of a partial skein, but it seems like it happens in every skein. Sometimes it is very close to the beginning or the end of a skein, which means I get to choose whether to incorporate the small bit or dispose of it.
